1:21: Brian Ites wore a Twins hat, shirt and coat Sunday. The Minneapolis man doesn’t own anything purple and doesn’t care much for the Vikings, but he’s a fan of the Metrodome.
"We don’t have Yankee Stadium or Dodger Stadium; this was our stadium," he said from the second deck behind what once was home plate.
"This place blew me away," said Ites, 35, who first saw a baseball game on Opening Day 1988 after the Twins won the World Series the previous year. "It was the coolest building. I thought Minnesota was the coolest place. We were on top of the world."
